AZ is Not The 100% Opposite of NZ

Did you notice that Lindsay, our NZ CPA, commented yesterday, bragging about weather? So, I was thinking about the differences and, even though we are in opposite hemispheres with opposite seasons, there are still some similarities. It is summer here, winter there. Opposite. However, neither of us can sit outside for too long in this season's temps. Similar. In the winter, Auckland rarely gets snow (last year was the first since 1939), and the Valley rarely gets snow, either. Similar. Well, you get the picture. Still being in the 50s right now does sound pretty awesome.

Speaking of family, today's CoV has nothing to do with family. In fact, it came to me because of my own eyebrows needing trimming periodically.

Yes, I did make it to Chorale practice last night. On Sunday, when I missed the concert, I also missed a chance to direct the chorale. The director publicly thanked his two fill-in directors and was going to have us each conduct a song, but I was not there. The other guy got his directorial debut. Oh well.

I have to go see my cardiologist today. And I am just a couple of months away from my annual visit to my oncologist. Come on. Getting old definitely has its drawbacks, doesn't it? I seem to be piling on more and more medical specialists. If it reaches the point of a different doctor visit everyday, that's just too much.

I may be getting older, but I am still working for a living. So, I had better perform some value-add so I can keep on working. If you are lucky, I will have more to say tomorrow. You can choose to read it or not. The question is...do you feel lucky, punk? Well, do ya?

Auckland has ocean all around, Phoenix has desert all around...seem like opposite but you can surf on both and see quite far when looking out over either :) Another similarity...I can do the exact same job sitting in a cube in Auckland or in downtown Phoenix...got to love EY!

hmmmm....yes, i fell lucky today-but am not a "punk" but at times feel like i have been "punked?" well what can i say bout the wwweeeaaattthhheerrrr? its a test to see how many people can withstand HELL only 100x hotter-you missed the opportunity to lead us sunday, kylee was there singing written in red in the 2nd facility-i have my own personal copy of this piece so i remembered to bring it for kylee to sing while standing beside me; of course she wanted to stand next to me for both concerts? had to tell just for the last song/in the last building. I use to cut pats hair/along with trimming eyebrows, side-burns...he smarted off a few times and i had to threaten him with: "do you really want to make your barber mad?" his response: i can just fire her, she doesnt do much around the place anyway! typical of the "honeymooners-syndrome" as he like Gleason & Carney! well better run "punk" yes, and i STILL feel lucky today-
