A Whale of a Time

We are back from a trip to San Diego...sand, sea, surf, Shamu. He even let us pose with him. Here, check it out.

Isabella had a great time. She seemed to enjoy all the shows. She and Kathie avoided sunburn. The rest of us were not so lucky. Yes, it was our own fault, but it is still no fun. We spent a day and a half at Sea World and then a half-day at Mission Beach.

Alison and I were going to ride the roller coaster at Sea World, but it was down for maintenance. Then, we thought about riding the Mission Beach coaster, but didn't get a round to it. So, we had to settle for riding with Kyle on the freeway.Hmm, not quite the same.

I've got some other photos I'll share later. We've got fun photos and scary photos: churros, funny faces, funny hats, messy eater, flowers, dolphins, killer whales, Kyle.

It's time to face the 100+ temperatures, not quite as nice as the 70s in San DIego. Hmm, I wonder if there are any jobs there?

Bella in the Pool

Bella went swimming tonight. It took a while for her to get all the way in. She would fuss when she went in a bit further each time and then would end up going in farther the next time. When Kyle got here, he went in with her.

Before that, though, she decided that "Here is water. What doth hinder me to drink?" Well, something like that. Anyway, the pool is warming nicely, and Bella really enjoyed it. I'll share more later.

Blog for Lauri

Here is a photo of my peach pie.

Oops. Too late. The difference between yours and mine is that it was not my first one...and I didn't make it.

Bella's "walker"

Hey, did you notice that I had not blogged in a day or two? Well, I guess I didn't have much to say. Even now, I don't have much to say. So, I'll give you something worth a thousand words. Isabella got a new table that plays music the other night, and found that it slides on the tile. So, back and forth between the dining room and the den for quite a while, pressing buttons and making noise all the time. So, the youngest Walker used her own walker.
