Jack In The Box

Before he was born, this is what both Isabella and Kendall called little Jack. I don't know if they will continue that or not. His parents fixed up the room in a pirate theme and colors, and not a Jack in the Box in sight.

If I had typed Jcak instead of Jack, would you still have been able to read it? Have you ever read about a study at Cambridge that proved people could still read words if the interior letters were out of order? Well, there was no such study, but that does not stop me from using it as CoV fodder.

We went with the folks last night to make those Make-Your-Own-Meals that we picked up from Dinner A'Fare. We had a lot of fun and they look pretty good. They had the preparation stations very organized, with plenty of Ziplock bags and numerous measuring cups for all dry and liquid ingredients. So, we brought everything home and will probably start making them early next week. The folks have six meals and we do, too. I am guessing they might get 8-9 meals out of theirs and we will get 7-8.

I am reluctant to slime today (I mean smile. Ha ha. Did you read that correctly?) because of that broken tooth discovered yesterday when they removed my lower retainer. And there is just a touch of temperature sensitivity, too. The root canal will be Monday, then they will build a new tooth, and then they will replace my retainer. As I often wonder, would it have been better to just have my teeth replaced like Dad?

Still two more weeks until Mom can see a back specialist about possible surgery. Until then, she continues to have constant pain. Keep her in your prayers.

Whoa. I have been just typing and not monitoring how long the post is getting. Some of you may have nodded off by now. Sorry. Mea culpa. I'll will stop and tell you whatever else I might have written in tomorrow's post.
