It Changed In a Day

Yeah, I noticed that the pool looked a little cloudy Saturday morning, so I checked the chemicals and swept the sides. Then, on Sunday morning, it looked really bad. Leslie's Pool Supply confirmed that all the chemicals looked OK except Phosphorus and they sold me $75 worth of stuff to fix it. Finally, this morning, it does look better. Pools are not cheap, are they? And the pool is just about too cool for swimming since our nighttime low temps are into the low 80s and upper 70s.

We had a discussion at lunch yesterday about the names parents are choosing for their kids nowadays. That led to this...

One benefit of evening temperatures falling is we can start walking the dog at night. We did it last night, but it was pretty warm. We have almost outlasted our summer discomfort and are reaching the seasons when this is a good place to live.

Whose birthday is it tomorrow? Well, probably, a lot of people, but I was thinking of Alison. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Ali!!

OK, we've had enough fun for now. Thanks for stopping by. Let's get this day started. As John Wayne would say, "We're burning daylight."
