It Was Great, But Over One Billion Dollars?

Kathie and I went to see Avatar in IMAX 3D yesterday. Wow, that was a really good movie. It certainly echos things like Pocahontas and Dances With Wolves. It is filled with Native American imagery and concepts (you know, God is in all of us). Still, at 6 stories tall and in 3D, it was really good. I imagine it would lose a lot of its impact in a regular theater, even in 3D.

I tried to find a good acronym for P.R.A.Y.E.R. that would have been non-religious, but none sounded logical. However, I was able to tie in MLK Day, huh?

We saw the granddaughters on Friday night and again Sunday afternoon. We also saw the Cardinal's game on TV, which was much less exciting that Isabella and Kendall. Luckily, they kept us busy during the Cowboy game, so it was time well spent.
