We have had an unusually mild Spring and early Summer. Hopefully, talking about it will not jinx us going forward. In fact, we continue to have below normal temps this week, only cracking 100F once. Our normal temp for the week is 103F. Luckily, it is a dry heat and that does help. Still, you people in other states, don't be trying to top us when it comes to heat. by the end of September, we are mighty tired of the 110+ days.
Speaking of getting tired of something, here is today's CoV. That's right. The cartoons continue. I'm trying to reach that elusive mark of 20 funny ones out of all of them. OK, you're right. I'm actually going for 10.
While waiting on the house to cool down last night, we went and walked around at Ikea. They certainly have lots of affordable ideas there. We are thinking about a couple of 2x4 Expedit units for the middle bedroom. They are just $69 each. Right now, though, we are still just thinking. I am certain I will not customize the unit like this guy did (although that is cool looking). My design tastes are not quite so modern.
As usual, we have our Tuesday 8:30am call coming up. I generated the agenda yesterday, but need to verify it and publish it. What about you? Anything to accomplish this morning before the heat and pressures of the day mount? Well, get to it. We can always visit another day.
