Don't y'all see photos and remember it a little bit different from what the picture shows? I remember these colors being so vivid when we toured Zion National Park a couple of years ago. I adjusted this using Levels and Saturation a bit, but if I did it as much as I think I remember, it seems too much. Well, here is today's photo. I do not remember this particular peak name.
I have the Olympic closing ceremony on beside me as I write this post. There is always a touch of sadness when the flame goes out. But the fireworks are unbelievable. Maybe too unbelievable. After the publicized debacle (good word, huh?) of the opening fireworks, I can't trust that these are real. If they are, they are amazingly well timed.
