Lessons from Choir

So, why is choir spelled that way, but you pronounce it kwy-er?

Anyway, prayer requests last night remind me that God has worked and continues to work in my life and my family's life. Why can't I trust Him to know our financial needs and take care of them? "Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith!"

Some of the choir members have kids that know the little girl dying of cancer who also needs a liver transplant. And we did not lose everything in a hurricane. And all my family are saved. Thank you, Lord, what You have given me and help me seek those lessons You are teaching me now. Amen.

Just happened upon your blog because it showed as one most recently updated.

This quote was one that I remember I relied on when I was jobless for 9 months, and it is so true. The experience definetely has made me so much more trust as well as so much more grateful in life.

I'll say a prayer for your search! Good Luck.

I am moved by your questioning. That verse has meant a lot to me also over the years; especially growing up poor. Now I see that God was preparing me for the work I have done with children and now with adults. Thanks for reminding me. God bless you and yours.

Sorry, one more question. If our blogs got you started, how come, under archives, your posts date to June?

At least you're not a "Legend in your spare time". Being a legend in your own mind let's you be one (legend of course) ALL the time.

Caleb, you's one bright dude. I have been keeping a journal in Word until I saw y'alls blogs. So, both of these apparent inconsistencies can coexist.

And by the way, little Mr. Smarty Pants, what Vignerot du Plessis invented is only cool for BLT. Otherwise, I usually avoid it.

You should post some more pics! I went through some of your archives and got to see Allison & James' and Kyle & Lindsay's weddings. Wish I could've been there!
