Hungry? How About Chocolate Churros or Guacummus?

Let start today talking about the vacation. The first park we visited was Disney's Hollywood Studios.

And the first ride we rode was The Great Movie Ride, which was JV's favorite.

Which includes this musical about rain and singing. I forget the actual movie name.

And the ride includes a Western set with this dude (or should I say Duke) on it.

How do you enter each park? We were each issued our own Disney Magic Pass. It is also linked to a personal credit card. So, this band is how you enter each park, it replaces room keys at our resort, it is how you pick up (pay for) your meals, it contains the Fast Pass to bypass long lines at some rides. It is a nice touch.

As we have discussed before, sometimes I click through to an article if the headline catches my imagination. The title of this article was "Star Wars Is About to Break Records for Breaking Records". Given that teaser, I just had to know which records they predict this movie will beat. These records include Thursday night preview showings, Day 1, Saturday, Sunday, Opening weekend, Second weekend, etc. It looks like they have listed 12 categories in total. What do you think? Will it be the worldwide blockbuster the media predicts? How quickly will you go to see it? WILL you go to see it? Well, you should know that some records have already been set. On Oct. 19, the first day fans could pony up, “The Force Awakens” outsold previous single-day record-holder “The Hunger Games” by an 8-to-1 margin at online broker Fandango, and by a 10-to-1 margin at MovieTickets.com. It was 10-to-1 at AMC Theaters, too. No film had ever done $1 million in advance IMAX theater sales, but “The Force Awakens” did, with $6.5 million. One month later, advance sales totaled $50 million, another record. And then there are the trailers. The latest one dropped by Disney and LucasFilm generated a record 112 million views in just 24 hours. Since Nov. 2014, when the first teaser was released online, official trailers, teasers and other snippets for ‘The Force Awakens’ have generated over 223 million views.

Do you like sugar cookies? Yes, of course you do. Take them to the next level by inserting your own flavor to turn them into pinwheels. Watch the video here.

Do you like guacamole? Yes, of course you do. Take it to the next level by making it in guacummus (or hummole if you prefer) by including hummus in it. See a recipe here.

Are you one of the many that really enjoyed the Serial podcast a couple of years ago? If so, hold onto your hats. Season two is finally here.

Do you think 3D movies will exist during your lifetime? What if there was already something very close? Would you go see it? You bet that I would. So, watch this demo video and see what you think.

Oreo Churros have been spotted in a Safeway freezer (at least according to Consumerist). You apparently heat them in a microwave. Interested? Stay tuned.

Things you never want to hear your airline pilot say: "Look down there. That's a cool laser show that house is usi..... Ahhh! I can't see." Sounds like it could happen, though.

Did you hear that Congress and the President are about to update Bush's No Child Left Behind legislation?

As you noticed, I found a plethora of links to share today. Should I have saved some for future information droughts? Perhaps, but that is not how I roll.  Let's both roll on outta here and have a Titanic Thursday (meaning really big, but a shipwreck).
